American IT Worker,
The report suggests revenue growth in Indian eLearning industry and not decrease in jobs elsewhere. In our opinion, outsourcing only helps the industry become stronger & competitive as a whole. Also, the issues you mention (and may be a few more) are likely with some vendors - irrespective of where they are located. The key is to choose a good vendor.

How is it that anyone could feel 'Confident' and 'Positive' about this projected increase in jobs within your own industry flowing overseas like water through a sieve over the next three years?
I can clearly see how sub-standard customer service, a loss of American IT and teaching jobs, and broken english support is going to be great for e-learning. Get real.

Great article! The trends seem on point and should be used as a reference point for those that mention that outsourcing is going away.
