Lime Design Associates (www.limedesignassociates.com), is currently working on a project with the Microsoft Corporation. We are looking to interview teachers from the U.K., India, the Netherlands, South Africa and the U.S. on the diverse ways mobile technology is used to support educational practices. If you know of teachers who would be interested in participating (their school would receive a $100 donation for their participation in the interview), could you please direct them to use the following link to complete a one-minute screening questionnaire?

<a href="https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dFhfSk5sRXlheU50SUVLY0E1SFRuYUE6MQ#gid=0" rel="nofollow">https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dFhfSk5sRXlheU50SUVLY0E1SFRuYUE6MQ#gid=0</a>

Thank you in advance for your help.

The scope of mobile learning is growing at a very unprecedented rate and undoubtedly the next enhanced platform for learning. Not just confined to communication, mobile is now the instrument to learn, download and share learning tools. After reading this article, I am very well convinced that mobile learning will transgress all other mediums in a very short span of time. This article was really worth the read.

Sathiraju, you make a valid observation; for any platform to be successful, learner motivation is key. This has always been the case, even in physical instructor led training, learners will absorb nothing if they aren't motivated in the first place. No reason why it shouldn't apply to any sort of instructional technology including mobile.

I agree with the need and potential of m-learning in India. My company (Talent Tree) is doing a pilot with 6000 students on Tele Coaching wherein Coaching is provided on telephone. there are mixed responses to this. Though we are in the middle of this experiment, the primary feeling is that more than the need and potential, it is the learner's intent is more critical. Once the learner intent can be ignited, then i am sure many such platforms can come in to use.
