		<description>I worked in the Instructional Design department for an organization that had Work at Home employees.  The costs spent on training them was costing the company thousands of dollars every year.  Between sending trainers out to a location, securing a room for a week, flying employees to the decided destination, and putting everyone up in hotels, you can imagine the expenses added up.

When I left, the organization was meeting to decide whether or not to change to solely online training for these employees that would work all over the world from home.  They are currently looking for the right medium to use.  I am back in school now, but curious about this new trend.

I am wondering what evaluation would look like...
How would we be able to measure results?
How long would it take to see a substantial ROI?
Does anyone have past experience with this?
