The future of elearning is mobile. Even with the present challenges mobile learning of non-standard screens, operating systems, browser support there is no real doubt that mobile learning is fast becoming widely accepted to deliver and help manage activities around learning delivery.

I am currently traveling in the US meeting clients and prospects in various domains and of varied business sizes. The one thing that strikes me is the immense interest in the mobile learning solutions that we provide. I’ve earlier written about what I believe is the future of learning technology and it seems from my interactions, yes, mobile (or m-learning) is the future of e-learning.

Smokescreen project is an effort to bring Flash player to the iPhone/iPad without installing the Flash plug-in. It’s an open source project implemented in HTML5 and JavaScript. For now this project is targeted at advertisers to enable them to run Flash ads on the iPhone/iPad.

Previously when I discussed freeform and template-based rapid content authoring tools, I kept software simulation tools aside.
