We create self–paced WBTs (web–based training programs) and CBTs (computer–based training programs) that comply with standards for interoperability and accessibility.
WBTs
Our WBTs are delivered via the Internet and run on standard browsers. Delivering learning in this manner makes it easily accessible from computers anywhere, and is especially convenient for multi–site companies that want to impart standard training as well as for those whose role requires them to be off site.
WBTs are an effective option for content that requires frequent updates; content can be changed at one place, and the updates are reflected to all learners. In addition to being self–paced, WBTs can also include collaborative online learning events, and learner progress and performance can be tracked and monitored.
On a low-speed connection, you may opt for media–light solutions, whereas high–bandwidth connections could support heavy animations and even video–based solutions.
CBTs
CBTs can run on company intranets and stand-alone computers without requiring access to the Internet. They can also be packaged for delivery on CDs and DVDs. Such programs could be either media light or media rich, as long as learner machine configurations meet the defined minimum criteria. As the learning units launch as applications, learners would not need to install any specific software on their machines.
CBTs delivered via a company intranet can allow for a certain amount of progress tracking; however, learning delivered completely via CD/DVD would generally be entirely self–contained units. |
