Amit Garg – Founder & Director – Content Solutions
Amit Garg has more than 14 years of professional experience with the last 9 years in eLearning.

He has experience in wide ranging fields like startup management, instructional design, courseware project management, selling technology solutions, dealer management, automobile logistics, and shop floor management.

He is keenly interested in the field of instructional design and has completed a certificate program in ‘Designing Online Instructions’ from Capella University. He has served as a judge for the prestigious Brandon Hall awards in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.

Prior to co–founding Upside Learning, Amit was ‘Head – Custom Courseware Development’ at one of India’s leading eLearning companies. Prior to that, he had worked with General Motors and Maruti Udyog.

Amit holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology – Kharagpur, and a Masters in Business Administration from XLRI – Jamshedpur.

Amit Gautam – Founder & Director – Technology Solutions
Amit Gautam has more than 12 years of professional experience with the last 9 years in eLearning.

He has experience in startup management, managing technology projects, consulting on technology solutions, and architecting and development of technology solutions.

Amit has twice served as a judge for the Brandon Hall awards in 2002 and 2004, and is an active contributor to many eLearning forums.

Before co–founding Upside Learning, Amit was ‘Head – Technology Solutions’ at one of India’s leading eLearning companies. Prior to that he had worked with Tata Infotech and Infosys Technologies.

Amit holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from REC–Kurukshetra, India and a Masters in Business Administration from IIM Lucknow.

Sonal Sheth – Business Manager
Sonal has over 9 years of experience in the eLearning industry. During this time, she has worked in different domains including Graphic Design, Instructional Design, and Project Management. This varied exposure enables her to take a more holistic view of eLearning projects.

Sonal has executed over 100 projects for clients located in the USA, the UK, Singapore, the Netherlands, Australia, and India. These projects have included application training, product training, process training; game–based learning in domains such as healthcare, wireless technology, soft skills etc.

Prior to joining Upside Learning, Sonal was a Senior Instructional Designer in one of India’s leading eLearning companies where she designed and managed projects related to ILT, processes training, software simulation etc.

Sonal holds a Bachelors degree in Physics with specialization in Photography & Mass Communication from Fergusson College, Pune; a Dual Diploma in Web Engineering from Arena Multimedia, Pune; and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Symbiosis, Pune.

Tushar Waghode – Head – UpsideLMS Implementation & Support
Tushar Waghode has been working as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since September 2005.

He has over 11 years of experience in the Information Technology in domains like Banking and Finance, Credit Reporting, Manufacturing and eLearning.

His hands on experience in the Software Development Life Cycle and knowledge of various SDLC methodologies has helped in delivering on time and defect free web projects and products.

Tushar has worked as a Program Manager and Project Manager for organizations like Abercrombie and Fitch, Equifax, Satyam Computers Services Ltd, Siemens, and Verizon. Prior to Joining Upside Learning, Tushar was working as manager for Verizon, in Dallas, USA, where he was managing and coordinating between multiple groups located in India and USA.

Tushar holds a Masters degree in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Powai, India, and a Bachelors Degree from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute (VJTI) Mumbai, India.

Abhijit Kadle – Manager – Instructional Design
Abhijit has more than 11 years of professional experience in multimedia design and development. Over the last 8 years, he has been active in the design of electronic instruction.

His expertise comes from having worked on design – driven projects for multimedia kiosk software, interactive CD–ROMs, multimedia instructional simulations, game–based learning environments, computer–based training, web–based training, and learning management systems and standards.

Prior to joining Upside Learning, Abhijit managed multiple technical instructional design and development projects for Fortune 500 companies at another eLearning company.

Abhijit holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Pune. His multifarious interests range from genetics, evolutionary biology, biochemistry, engineering, technology, computing to electronic games, media, communication, and the design of user experience and interaction.

Geera Bellare – Manager – Instructional Design
Geera has over 8 years of professional experience.

As an instructional designer, she has worked on over 50 projects, analyzing client requirements and content, defining instructional approaches and course structures, creating storyboards, and reviewing outputs. She has worked on a variety of projects, covering business and technical simulations, story–based learning, and CBT to WBT conversions. Geera served as a judge for the prestigious Brandon Hall awards in 2007 and 2008.

Prior to joining Upside Learning, she was a consultant with a company providing consultancy services for the design, implementation, and auditing of quality and food safety management systems conforming to international standards. This allowed her to experience a range of industries like IT and ITES, education, GIS, manufacturing, and food processing.

Geera holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and German from Lawrence University, USA, and a Masters in Business Administration from Pune University, India.

Abhijit Brahme – Manager – Visual Design
Abhijit has a total of 12 years experience in visual design and communications, of which the last 7 have been in eLearning.

He has vast experience in visual communication, information designing, GUI designing, desktop publishing, print designing, and interactive multimedia presentations. He has worked with a wide array of image editing, drawing, 2–D and 3–D animation, publishing, web designing, audio–, and video–editing tools.

Prior to joining Upside Learning, Abhijit worked as an instructor in a graphic design institute, conducted public seminars and corporate training programs on visual design tools, and simultaneously worked as a freelance designer.

Abhijit holds a Diploma in Commercial Arts from Abhinav Kala Mahavidhayalaya, Pune and a Certificate in Web Design from SEED, Pune.

Amar Jadhav – Manager – Technical
Amar is the key architect of the technology backbone underlying all our products and custom solutions. He specializes in designing and architecting web–based systems and his strong exposure to the eLearning domain enables him to design robust and scalable Learning Solutions. He has an excellent understanding of SCORM, AICC, Section 508, ADA, and W3C standards.

He has been instrumental in setting up our solutions development process and also works closely with our Content Solutions team.

Amar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Computer Science from Pune University.

Yogesh Agarwal – Manager – Technical
Yogesh has vast experience in architecting and developing eLearning frameworks using FLASH– XML and customizing existing frameworks as per client requirements.

He has experience in integrating courseware into various Learning Management Systems like Docent, Saba, Element–K, and Moodle, and in ensuring technical compliance with AICC and SCORM standards. He has worked on over 50 projects, covering K–12, software application and business simulations, scenario–based learning, and CBT to WBT conversion. His skillset includes Flash, Action Script, Flash Media Server, HTML, XML, and javascript.

Yogesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Information Technology from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU).
