Video-based learning is effective when it comes to demonstrating complex equipment and processes or showing actual environments and events that would not be adequately represented through graphics – no matter how sophisticated. Videos are equally effective when it comes to depicting things that the learners cannot visualize for themselves.
Videos allow for learning to be structured within more realistic contexts. They may also prove to have a high motivation quotient, as they bring in a ‘personal touch’ through instructors or expert presenters.
