Upside Learning bags two awards in Design, Content Creation, & Video and Health, Safety, & Risk sub-categories.

Upside Learning, a leading service provider of end-to-end digital learning solutions, recently bagged 2 Learning Excellence Awards for 2022 for its client projects. The results were announced at a lunchtime event in the Britannia Suite at the National Conference Centre on Friday, April 8, 2022.

The awards are a testimony to Upside Learning’s efforts in bringing real outcomes by creating cutting-edge learning solutions in order to deliver value and signiﬁcantly impact business results. This year’s winning entries were submitted for its client’s projects under the New Thinking & Innovation and Marketing & Sales Functional categories. The winners are listed here.

Details of Winning Entries

The two wins under the broader categories ‘New Thinking & Innovation’ and ‘Marketing & Sales Functional’, are for the client projects – ‘The Zee WAY – A Gamified Induction Programme’ and ‘Health, Safety and Environment Compliance Training for ISS’, respectively.

Design, Content Creation, and Video – The Zee WAY A Gamified Induction Programme
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEE), a media conglomerate based in India, was looking to replace its instructor-led induction program that gave an overview of Zee’s businesses, history, culture, and policies. ZEE partnered with Upside Learning to create a story-based training with gamified elements to provide an engaging learning experience to its new employees. Through a hero’s journey, the learners traveled through seven different milestones, each covering a critical topic, and earned rewards to successfully complete the End Game. The program successfully mirrored the company ethos and reflected their purpose – “to create the extraordinary”.

Health, Safety, and Risk- ISS Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance Training
To supplement existing safety-related interventions, ISS partnered with Upside Learning to develop a training intervention to introduce safety practices to its new employees. This would ensure new joiners could familiarize themselves with ISS’s safety culture, the need for it, and how employees could contribute to it. The training was meant to be mandatory for all the frontline employees before they started working on their tasks. It is a highly visual, fully responsive, and effective learning experience accessible to all frontline ISS employees across various age groups and experience levels.
